Acceptable Use Policy

This policy explains what is not allowed on StarVerse. You must follow it when you create star names, display names, gift messages, public star pages, certificates, reports, offers, and marketplace activity.

1. No unlawful use

You must not use StarVerse for unlawful purposes or to encourage unlawful activity.

2. No hateful, abusive, or harassing content

You must not use names, messages, or content that attacks, degrades, threatens, or harasses people based on protected characteristics or personal identity.

3. No impersonation

You must not impersonate another person, business, public figure, brand, organisation, or authority in a misleading way.

4. No scams or misleading claims

You must not claim that StarVerse stars are official astronomical names, legal space property, NASA/IAU-recognised records, investment products, guaranteed resale assets, or financial instruments.

5. No explicit or harmful content

You must not use StarVerse to publish or share sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, self-harm, or otherwise harmful content.

6. No private information

You must not publish another person's private information, including addresses, phone numbers, emails, payment details, identity documents, or private messages.

7. No intellectual property infringement

You must not use names or content that infringe trademarks, copyrights, brands, or other rights.

8. No platform abuse

You must not: attempt to hack or bypass security; exploit bugs; scrape or overload the service; create fake accounts for abuse; manipulate offers; create fraudulent gifts or claims; interfere with payments, ownership, or certificates; or attempt to access admin or private data.

9. Star name moderation

StarVerse may hide, remove, rename, restrict, or moderate star names and public pages. If a name is hidden, the certificate or public page may show “Name hidden by moderation”.

10. Reports

Users may report stars, certificates, or public pages that breach this policy.

11. Enforcement

StarVerse may take action including warning users, hiding names, removing content, suspending accounts, cancelling offers, blocking gifts, revoking certificates, restricting marketplace access, and reporting serious abuse to appropriate authorities.
